Connecting to a network
Network settings on your computer
Windows PC
1.
Click the [
(Start)] button and then "Settings" (gear
icon).
2.
Click "Network & Internet".
3.
Click "Change adapter options".
4.
Right-click the network connection you want to use, and
click "Properties".
5.
Select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)", and click
the [Properties] button.
6.
Select the "Obtain an IP address automatically" and
"Obtain DNS server address automatically" radio
buttons, and click the [OK] button.

1.
From the Apple menu, click "System Preferences" and
then "Network".
2.
From the list on the left-hand side, select the network
connection service you are using.
3.
In the "Configure IPv4" dropdown menu, select "Using
DHCP", and click the [Apply] button.
