4.2 Functional description

The "Floorbox" serves to connect each dwelling
to the surface heating systems with flow
temperatures suitable for such systems. It is
used in combination with a "Unibox" installation
set for room to room control. The "Floorbox" is
a central device for isolating, regulating and
measuring the heat consumption per dwelling.
Installation and operating instructions
Standard heat meters with flat sealing bodies
can be installed in the return pipe subsequently:
• with a length of 110 mm and G
threads and
• with a length of 130 mm and G 1 male
threads.
A lateral or lower connection of the "Floorbox"
is possible.

5. Installation and assembly

5.1 Extent of supply

– Ball valve with temperature sensor connec-
tion M 10 x 1, venting and flushing valve,
pipe elbow and connection fitting (pos. 2)
For the return:
– Ball valve with coupling (pos. 1)
– Meter stool piece with reducers (pos. 6)
– Double regulating and commissioning valve
"Hycocon VTZ" with angle pattern fitting,
ven ting and flushing valve and connection
fitting (pos. 3)
– 4 flat seals for G 1 connections (pos. 5)
