❒ Depending on the model you use,
the 802.11b Interface Unit, the 1394
Interface Unit, and the Bluetooth
Interface Unit cannot be installed
to the printer at the same time. For
more information, see p.19 "In-
stalling Options".
Important
❒ Before touching the Blutooth Inter-
face Unit, touch something metal
to discharge any static electricity.
Static electricity can damage the
Blutooth Interface Unit.
❒ Do not subject the Blutooth inter-
face unit to physical shocks.
Limitation
❒ You must install additional Memo-
ry Units to use the Bluetooth Inter-
face Unit. See p.25 "Memory Unit
Type C (SDRAM Module)"

the following items:
• Bluetooth Interface Unit
• Card
• Antenna Cap
• Installation Guide

Be sure to check the following
points:
• The power switch is turned off.
• The interface cable is un-
plugged from the printer.

❒ If the Duplex Unit is not at-
tached, go to step

Bluetooth Interface Unit Type 2045
If the Duplex Unit is attached,
push down the lever on right side
(A A A A ) and pull out the Duplex Unit
until it stops (B B B B ).
Remove the two screws holding
the controller board in place.

❒ Use a coin or similar object if the
screws do not turn easily.
