Replacing Consumables and Maintenance Kit
The fusing unit is installed as
shown in the illustration.

Release the green screw that is
fastening the fusing unit.
Note
❒ Use a coin (A) to release the
screw.
❒ The screw cannot be detached.

Put on the supplied gloves.

Holding the handle, pull the fus-
ing unit slowly until it stops.

❒ Pull out the fusing unit until the
whole of it can be seen.

Hold the green handles on the
sides of the fusing unit with both
hands, and then remove it to-
wards the direction shown.

Important
❒ Put the removed fusing unit on
a stable, flat surface.

Take out the new fusing unit
from the box. Put it on a stable,

covering paper.
