- Page 15 10. Install the LINK floor bracket #LK-JOU08-01 using the OEM seat bolts. 11. Run the power from the battery to the LINK. To do this, thread the red power cable (+) under the doorstep molding and through the firewall. Make sure you pass through a grommet in the firewall to prevent the cable from chaffing.
- Page 16 12. Remove the LINK from the shipping box and set it on a table or workbench. Connect auxiliary 12V power to the LINK. The LINK will ‘beep’ during the installation. (See LINK Audible Warnings chart for further references.) 13. Next, connect the LINK to the Android tablet via Bluetooth. Connect the Bluetooth module (small, blue and white, 4 pronged connector) to the LINK pendant plug.
- Page 17 14. Place the LINK in the vehicle on the floor adapters. Use the four longer (3/8’’-16 x 1¼’’) socket cap bolts to secure the LINK by the pivot, and use the four shorter (3/8’’-16 x 7/8’’) bolts to secure the interior of the LINK.

- Page 21 21. Grind out a notch on the right tab on the plastic seat base to allow the recline cable to pass. Place the recline cable in the ground out notch then install the link seat adapter to the seat back using the OEM bolts.

- Page 23 25. The seat is now ready to be reinstalled to the LINK. Use the ‘BYPASS’ mode to tilt the seat up to gain access to the mounting bolts under the seat. Do not forget to install the retaining bracket for the communication wire from the LINK control box which will have to be attached with zip ties.
- Page 24 27. The plastic shroud on the right hand side will have to have one inch cut off the bottom to allow clearance at the pivot of the LINK. Then reinstall along with the seat belt and recline handle. 28. Attach the pendant wire on the side under the right hand shroud and position it to come out between the seat back and seat cushion.

- Page 26 LINK be exactly at the ‘HOME’ position before moving on to the next step. If the LINK is slightly off its ‘HOME’ position or the starting point of its movements, there is a strong chance that the LINK will not fit through the doorway properly and/or will cause problems with the preset of the LINK.
- Page 27 Unplug the Bluetooth module and plug in the hand pendant. Make sure the LINK hand pendant is working properly. Cycle the LINK and out a few times, both with and without a passenger to make sure all shrouds are properly installed and that nothing is rubbing or requiring adjustment. Make a visual inspection while the LINK is in movement that all the wiring follows the seat and does not risk being severed at any time.
