The seat belt tensioner will be relocated to the provided bracket on the LINK. Use the provided plastic trim LK-SILX07RB-08 to replace the hole left by the removal of the plastic housing.

6. The seat bottom floor frame, wiring harness, and foam base will have to be removed. LINk 2007 - 2013 Chevrolet Silverado; / GMC Sierra Extended Cab; Front Right p. 6...

7. Once the seat bottom floor frame is removed, the seat wiring harness will have to be completely removed to be modified and extended to allow for the movement of the LINK and keep the OEM functions. 8. Parts of the wiring harness will have to be carefully skinned away to give access to the wires to be extended and modified.

9. The main harness connector will now have to extended with the 18 gauge cable and connectors provided in the kit. Cut and extend the wires on the main seat connector. « LINk 2007 - 2013 Chevrolet Silverado; / GMC Sierra Extended Cab; Front Right p. 10...

11. The wiring harness can now be re-installed on the seat. Attach the wire harness using the provided zip ties. 12. Install the airbag seat position sensor on the provided bracket LK-SILC07R-04. 13. Run the power and ground for the LINK. Follow the instructions as detailed in the attached document: ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION. (Found at the end of this manual). 14. On the floor of the vehicle, the airbag control module, the crash sensor, and the heating duct will have to modified and repositioned, to allow the installation of the LINK floor adaptors.

16. Reposition the airbag control module and cut off one of the old retaining bolts. 17. Install the LINK floor adaptor LK-SILX07R-01 on the supplied rear shims LK-SILX07-10 and tighten down with original OEM bolts on the front and the supplied M12-1.75X50mm bolts at the back.

19. Remove the LINK from the shipping box and set it on a table or work bench. The LINK has been pre-programmed to fit in the application it was ordered for. *IMPORTANT: Before connecting auxiliary 12V power to the LINK, connect the 9V battery. The 9V battery will maintain memory of the movements of the motors for approximately 12 hours, in event of 12V power loss.

21. Place the LINK in the vehicle on the floor adapter. Use the four (4) 3/8’’-16 x 1¼’’ socket cap bolts to secure the LINK by the pivot, and use the four (4) 3/8’’-16 x 7/8’’ to secure the interior of the LINK.

24. The seat can be ‘TILTED’ up in ‘BYPASS’ mode to help with the reinstallation of the seat base. 25. Now finish reinstalling the seatback wiring and pose the seat back. 26. 29. Reinstall the plastic shroud, the electric seat control connectors and seat belt. 30. Install the seat belt tensioner to the underside of pivot block at the back of the LINK, remove the 2 original allen screws and replace with the provided 5/15XG8 bolts, and then install the provided fabric cover LK-SILX07B-09.

33. Using the LINK IT app, use ‘RESET’ mode to bring the seat to the ‘HOME’ position. PLEASE WATCH THE SHORT TUTORIAL THAT APPEARS WHEN YOU TOUCH ‘RESET’ TO UNDERSTAND HOW THIS FEATURE WORKS.

ZERO POSITION’. Press ‘ACCEPT’ and the LINK will emit two (2) audible beeps to confirm ‘RESET’. The LINK is now set to its ‘HOME’ position. NOTE: This is the position that the LINK will start its outward travel from. 9 Volt Battery The LINK is designed to run off of the vehicle’s 12 volt battery. It is equipped with many safeguards to ensure that the controller box always retains its programing sequence. One of those safeguards is the 9 volt memory backup battery.
