  • Page 11 Remove the seat wiring harness. The photos of the wiring harness are for a manually reclining seat. Drill out the rivets that hold the lumbar adjuster, which, will be reinstalled on the LINK seat base. LINK 2011-2016 Ford F250 Crew Cab Front Right p.6...
  • Page 12 LINK seat brackets. Cut off the protrusion halve way across and then reinstall. Run the power from the battery to the LINK. To do this, thread the red power cable (+) under the doorstep molding and through the firewall. Make sure you pass through a grommet in the firewall to prevent the cable from chaffing.

  • Page 14 Remove the LINK from the shipping box and set it on a table or workbench. Connect auxiliary 12V power to the LINK. The LINK will ‘beep’ during the installation. (See LINK Audible Warnings chart for further references.)
  • Page 15 Place the LINK in the vehicle on the floor adapter. Use the four longer (3/8’’-16 x 1¼’’) socket cap bolts to secure the LINK by the pivot, and use the four shorter (3/8’’-16 x 7/8’’) to secure the interior of the LINK. Be careful not to pinch the LINK wire harness between the LINK and the floor IMPORTANT: Run the LINK harness around and under the pivot.
  • Page 16 Connect the previously installed 12v power supply to the LINK, and using the ‘bypass’ mode on your ADAPT SOLUTIONS tablet carefully ‘pivot’ ‘travel’ and ’tilt’ the LINK out of the vehicle to install the seat. Install the metal seat pan with the self-tapping screws provided.

  • Page 18 Install the seat cushion onto the seat adapter. The tab on the front right hand side will have to be bent up to allow clearance. Bend the tabs at the bottom of the seat back. LINK 2011-2016 Ford F250 Crew Cab Front Right p.13...
  • Page 19 Be sure to attach the unused motor wires in the seat. The seat back, can now be reinstalled onto the LINK. Run the wiring connectors to the seat back. Pay specific attention to firmly fastening the harness where it exits the seat back.

  • Page 22 Attach the extended wiring harness at the back of the seat. Bring the LINK out to verify if you have enough wire to follow the seat in and out. Attach the wire at the lower corner of the LINK. Roll up any excess wiring on the floor under the LINK and reconnect the seat floor connector.
  • Page 23 If the LINK is slightly off its ‘HOME’ position or the starting point of its movements, there is a strong chance that the LINK will not fit through the doorway properly and/or will cause problems with the preset of the LINK.
  • Page 24 INFO | LINK MANAGEMENT | DIAGNOSTIC. The real voltage will be listed. Unplug the Bluetooth module and plug in the hand pendant. Make sure the LINK hand pendant is working properly. Cycle the LINK in and out a few times, both with and without a passenger to make sure all shrouds are properly installed and that nothing is rubbing or requires adjustment.
