  • Page 7 Take a moment and watch the video that shows all the features of the tablet. To do this, open the LINK IT app and tap on ‘INFO’. Make sure your volume is turned up and tap on App-101.
  • Page 8 Make sure the steering wheel adjustment is fully UP and IN to allow maximum clearance for the driver seat. When installing the LINK with hand controls, hand controls should be installed after the LINK. 1. Unbolt and remove the OEM seat. Unplug the connectors under the seat.

  • Page 12 6. Reinstall the wiring into the seat, run the extension out of the bottom left hand corner of the seat. Attach the wires securely with zip ties. 7. The seat height adjustment motor will have to be removed. Install the supplied bracket, part #LK- F150C09L-04 in its place. p. 7 LINK 2009-2014 FORD F150 CREW CAB/ SUPERCAB/ FRONT LEFT...
  • Page 13 Run the power from the battery to the LINK. To do this, thread the red power cable (+) under the doorstep moulding and through the firewall. Make sure you pass through a grommet in the firewall to prevent the cable from chaffing.
  • Page 14 (8) bolt holes. 12. Place the LINK in the vehicle on the floor adapter. Use the four longer (3/8’’-16 x 1¼’’) socket cap bolts to secure the LINK by the pivot, and use the four shorter (3/8’’-16 x 7/8’’) to secure the interior of the LINK.
  • Page 15 13. Connect the previously installed 12V power supply to the LINK. Using the LINK IT application, use ‘BYPASS’ mode to ‘TILT’ the seat adapter up to facilitate the installation of the seat onto the LINK. 14. Reconnect the extended harness. Install the provided plastic cover.
  • Page 16 Verify the positioning of the wire to make sure there is no chance of it pinching or binding once the seat moves. 16. The left hand seat trim will have to be modified to allow clearance for the LINK. Modify the seat shroud to fit around the pivot block, as shown. Reinstall the plastic seat trim and electric seat controls.
  • Page 17 If the LINK is slightly off its ‘HOME’ position or the starting point of its movements, there is a strong chance that the LINK will not fit through the doorway properly and/or will cause problems with the preset of the LINK.
  • Page 18 Now that the LINK is in its ‘HOME’ position, RESET the unit by pressing ‘CONFIRM RESET’. A screen will pop up to ask: ‘ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO RESET?’. Press ‘ACCEPT’. The LINK will emit two (2) audible beeps to confirm ‘RESET’, and will now be in reduced power mode.
