Take a moment and watch the video that shows all the features of the tablet. To do this, open the LINK IT app and tap on ‘INFO’. Make sure your volume is turned up and tap on App-101.
Make sure the steering wheel adjustment is fully UP and IN to allow maximum clearance for the driver seat. When installing the LINK with hand controls, we strongly suggest that the hand controls be installed after the LINK. 1. Remove the driver side OEM seat and place it on a workbench or table. In the next few steps, you will be taking apart much of the seat.

15. Run the power from the battery to the LINK. To do this, thread the red power cable (+) under the doorstep moulding and through the firewall. Make sure you pass through a grommet in the firewall to prevent the cable from chaffing.

17. Remove the LINK from the shipping box and set it on a table or workbench. Connect auxiliary 12V power to the LINK. The LINK will ‘beep’ during the installation. (See LINK Audible Warnings chart for further references.) 18. Next, connect the LINK to the Android tablet via Bluetooth. Connect the Bluetooth module (small, blue and white, 4-pronged connector) to the LINK pendant plug.

19. The seat fan must be modified so it can be reinstalled to the LINK. Start by detaching the OEM fan from the fan ducting. Now remove the fan from the seat cushion support. Remove the fan from its casing by removing the four screws and a wiring support clip.

TRV185-06 to the fan ducting, and attach it with two of the provided self-tapping screws. 21. Install the provided doorstop spacer using the M8-1.25X25mm bolt, washer and plastic spacer. 22. Place the seat back on the back seat. Place the floor connector and the extended wire harness in the vehicle on the floor before installing the LINK floor adapter. (Do not plug in the floor connector at this time.) Install the floor adapter Part # LK-TRV18L-01.

24. Place the LINK in the vehicle on the floor adapters. Use the four longer (3/8’’-16 x 1¼’’) socket cap bolts to secure the LINK by the pivot, and use the four shorter (3/8’’-16 x 7/8’’) bolts to secure the interior of the LINK. Be careful not to pinch the wire harness between the LINK and the floor adapter.

27. Reinstall the seatbelt receiver to the LINK using the provided 7/16’’-20 x1’’ bolt and flat washer. 28. Reinstall the seatbelt pre-tensioner using the provided 7/16’’-20x1’’1/2 bolt and flat washer. 29. Attached the modified seat fan to the LINK seat adapter using the provided ¼ inch nuts as spacers along with the self-tapping screws.

33. Reinstall the seat-cushion support, and then the modified seat-fan duct. Be sure to insert the modified seat-duct adapter in the fan hose. 34. Reconnect the seat-belt pretensioner. 41. Attach the extended wiring at the back of the seat. Reattach the fabric seat flap under the seat. NOTE: Make sure it is tight and that there is no danger of it getting caught in the LINK mechanism. Attach additional wiring with zip ties.

43. Bring the LINK out to verify if you have enough wire to follow the seat in and out. Attach the wire at the lower corner of the LINK. Roll up any excess wiring on the floor under the LINK and reconnect the seat floor connector.

43. Now that the LINK is in its ‘HOME’ position, RESET the unit by pressing ‘CONFIRM RESET’. A screen will pop up to ask: ‘ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO RESET?’. Press ‘ACCEPT’. The LINK will emit two (2) audible beeps to confirm ‘RESET’, and will now be in reduced power mode.
