9. The engine oil pressure gauge (Figure 62) indicates
the oil pressure of the engine. Under normal operating
conditions this gauge should indicate approximately
44–94 psi.

10. The coolant temperature gauge (Figure 63) indicates
the coolant temperature. Under normal operating
conditions, this gauge should indicate approximately
167°–194°F (75°–90°C).

11. The engine tachometer (Figure 64) indicates the
speed of the engine while the generator is operating.
Under normal operating conditions, this gauge should
indicate approximately 1,000 rpm when the engine
speed switch is in the LOW position, and 1,800 rpm
when the engine speed switch is in the HIGH position.

13. Verify that the Main Circuit Breaker ON lamp (Figure 66)
is lit (ON).

14. Place the GFCI circuit breakers in the ON position
(Figure 67).

15. Verify that the generator's ammeter (Figure 68) reads
the anticipated amount of current with respect to the
load. The ammeter will only display a current reading
if a load is in use.

16. The generator will run until manually stopped or an
abnormal condition occurs.
