Danger of injury if the ventila-
tion unit is damaged.
 Switch the ventilation unit
off immediately if you discover
damage or faults that could en-
danger persons or property.
 Prevent the unit from being
switched back on until it has
been fully repaired.

Danger from electric shock.
 Before installing the elec-
trics, shut down all supply
circuits, deactivate the mains
fuse and secure it so it cannot
be switched back on. Attach a
warning sign in clearly visible
place.

cal, sensory or mental capabili-
ties or a lack of knowledge.
 Ventilation unit may only
be installed, commissioned,
cleaned and maintained by
people who can safely recog-
nise and avoid the risks asso-
ciated with this work.

which are added or modified
at a later date.
Parts (range hood, air-venti-
lated fireplace etc.) which are
added or modified at a later
date may result in health risks
and operation which is not
permitted.
 Parts may only be added or
modified at a later date if sys-
tem compatibility is established/
ensured by a planning office.
If using an exhaust air range
hood or air-ventilated fireplace,
this must be accepted by a pro-
fessional chimney sweep.

Danger of injury if work is car-
ried out by unqualified staff.
Specialist knowledge is needed
for the safe transport, installa-
tion and commissioning of the
ventilation unit.
 Only allow a specialist in-
staller to undertake such work
in accordance with the installa-
tion instructions, refer to safety
instructions in installation in-
structions.
