Removal (Fig. 1)
1. Park machine on a level surface, lower cutting deck
(or implement), stop engine, engage parking brake and
remove key from the ignition switch.
CAUTION
When changing attachments, tires or perform-
ing other service, use correct blocks, hoists
and jacks. Make sure machine is parked on a
solid, level surface such as a concrete floor.
Prior to raising machine, remove any attach-
ments that may interfere with the safe and
proper raising of the machine. Always chock or
block wheels. Use jack stands or solid wood
blocks to support the raised machine. If the ma-
chine is not properly supported by blocks or
jack stands, the machine may move or fall,
which may result in personal injury.
2. Chock wheels to prevent machine from shifting. Us-
ing a jack or hoist, raise machine so wheel is off ground.
Support machine with jack stands or wooden blocking
(see Jacking Instructions in Chapter 1 − Safety).
3. Remove lug nuts and remove wheel.

Installation (Fig. 1)
1. Install wheel and secure with five (5) lug nuts.
2. Tighten lug nuts evenly in a crossing pattern to the
following torque specifications:
A. Torque front lug nuts from 75 to 80 ft−lb (102 to
108 N−m).
B. Torque rear lug nuts on 2 wheel drive machines
from 75 to 80 ft−lb (102 to 108 N−m).
C. Torque rear lug nuts on 4 wheel drive machines
from 70 to 90 ft−lb (95 to 122 N−m).
3. Lower machine to ground.
