2.3 Memory Support and Installation
Note: Check the Supermicro website for recommended memory modules.
Important: Exercise extreme care when installing or removing DIMM modules to pre-
vent any possible damage.
Memory Support
The X13SRN-H/-E supports up to 64 GB of Non-ECC DDR5 SO-DIMM memory with speeds
of up to 4800 MT/s in two memory slots on the bottom side of the motherboard.
General Guidelines for Optimizing Memory Performance
•
The blue or grey slots must be populated first.
•
It is recommended to use DDR5 memory of the same type, size, and speed.
•
Mixed DIMM speeds can be installed. However, all DIMMs will run at the speed of the
slowest DIMM.
