Removing the Drum Light and Moisture Sensor
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
To Remove the Drum Light
1. Unplug dryer or disconnect power.
2. Perform the procedures on page 4-2,
Console/User Interface (UI) and Top
performing the following steps.
3. Perform the procedures on page 4-4,
Panel" before performing the following steps.
4. If not done already, unplug connector J6 from the ACU.
5. Unclip the two harness clips shown in below Figure.

6. Depress the tabs on both sides of the drum light to release
from bulkhead. Route the light and harness assembly
through the hole.
To Remove the Moisture Sensor
1. Unplug dryer or disconnect power.
2. Perform the procedures on page 4-2,
Console/User Interface (UI) and Top
performing the following steps.
3. Perform the procedures on page 4-4,
Panel" before performing the following steps.
4. Open dryer door and remove the lint screen.
5. Disconnect Moisture Sensor connector and unclip moisture
sensor harness from bulkhead.
