Heading Link: The parallel index line moves as bearing changes.
The parallel index line angle
(bearing) will be fixed as
specified.
(The parallel index line will not
be interlocked with the azimuth
line.)
For NUP and CUP, the on-screen bearing is fixed while azimuth line
changes, therefore parallel index line angle remains fixed.
For HUP, the on-screen bearing changes as azimuth line changes, and is
interlocked with parallel index line that turns as bearing moves.
The on-screen degree (angle) of parallel index line is always fixed.
(It will not be interlocked with either alteration of azimuth line or
bearing.)
For NUP, CUP, and HUP, the on-screen angle will not be affected by
bearing alteration. The parallel index line remains fixed.
(The parallel index line is interlocked with the bearing line.)
For NUP and CUP, the bearing line turns as bearing changes, and the
interlocked parallel index line turns as well.
For HUP, bearing can change while bearing line remains fixed. The
parallel index line is interlocked with the bearing line, and remains fixed
as well.
