SHUT-OFF SWITCH
(vehicles with a petrol engine)
The vehicle is equipped with a
switch that cuts off the fuel supply
in the event of an accident. This is
first and foremost for your own
safety.
Activation of the switch may also be
caused through sudden vibrations
(e.g. collision when parking).
The switch is located in the side panel
in front of the passengers door.
The button will be raised when the
switch is activated.
Do not reset the fuel pump
shut-off switch if you see or
smell leaking fuel.
Resetting the switch
Turn the ignition switch to
position 0.
Check fuel system for leaks.
If no fuel leak is apparent, reset
the switch by pushing in the button
(see illustration).
Turn the ignition switch to
position II. After a few seconds
return the key to position I.
Make a further check for leaks in
the fuel system.
