Selector lever positions
Note: The selector lever positions
are only shown in the multifunction
display.
P = Park
This position should be
selected only when the
vehicle is stationary.
Always apply the handbrake
fully and make sure that the
selector lever is securely latched
in P. Turn off the ignition
whenever you leave the vehicle.
In this position, the transmission is
locked.
If position P is not selected,
a warning chime will sound
when the driver's door is opened
(independent of ignition
position).
The battery saver will deactivate
the warning chime after a period of
time.
The engine should be started with
the selector in position P. If
necessary, it can also be started
with the lever in position N.
Driving
