SPEED LIMITED MODE
Indicates that there is a malfunction
of the Electronic Acceleration Control
(EAC). The engine speed will drop
to idle and there will be no accelerator
pedal response.
Once the brake pedal is presssed and
released, the engine speed will rise
to between 1 500 and 4 000 rpm and
the vehicle can be driven safely up
to a maximum of 56km/h. Pressing
the brake pedal will reduce the engine
speed back down to idle.
Have the system checked by an expert
as soon as possible. Ford authorized
repairers are recommended.

• PASSENGER SIDE REAR
DOOR OPEN
• LUGGAGE COMP. OPEN
• BONNET OPEN
The door indicated, the luggage
compartment or the bonnet is open.
Close the door, tailgate or bonnet
before continuing your journey.

• Warning messages with an
amber warning light
• LOW WASHER FLUID LEVEL
The screen washer fluid level is low.
Refill the washer fluid.
• ESP OFF
Indicates a malfunction of the
Electronic Stability Program (ESP).
During a malfunction, the system
switches off. Have the system checked
by an expert, Ford authorized repairers
are recommended. For further details,
refer to the section Electronic Stability
Program (ESP) from page 118
onwards.
• REMOTE KEY BATTERY LOW
Indicates that the radio frequency
remote control battery is low. Replace
the battery. For further deails, refer to
the chapter Locks (security) from page
67 onwards.
