Y Stop engine.
Y Do not run engine without air
cleaner or with dirty element. En-
gine damage caused by using a
damaged element is not covered
by the warranty.
.
The air cleaner element can be
cleaned but the dirt holding capacity
of the filter is reduced with each
cleaning. The chance of dirt reaching
the clean side of the filter while clean-
ing and the possibility of filter damage
makes cleaning a risk. Consider the
risk of unwarrantable equipment
damage when determining whether
to clean or replace the element.
Clean or replace element if dirty. Replace
element if damaged. Replace element
yearly or after six cleanings.
