ALLGEMEINES Dieses Handbuch richtet sich an Anwender:innen der Federgabel. Es beinhaltet Montage, Einstellung, Wartung und Pflege der Federgabel sowie die Garantiebestimmungen.
  • Page 4 2.3 BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄSSE VERWENDUNG UND MAXIMALES SYSTEMGEWICHT Der bestimmungsgemässe Gebrauch von DT Swiss Produkten ist in fünf Kategorien eingeteilt, von Fahrten auf befestigten Strassen bis hin zum Gebrauch im Downhill- und Freeride-Bereich. DT Swiss-Produkte dürfen ausschliesslich innerhalb der vorgesehenen Kategorie (oder darunter) verwendet werden.

    3.3 LAUFRAD EINBAUEN 1. Steckachse (RWS) reinigen und leicht fetten. Das Gewinde des RWS und das Gewinde im Ausfallende der Gabel müssen fettfrei sein. 2. Berührungsflächen zwischen Nabe und Federgabel reinigen und auf scharfe Kanten prüfen. Sind scharfe Kanten vorhanden, darf die Nabe nicht verwendet werden. 3.

  • Page 10 LUFTDRUCK ERHÖHEN 1. Federgabel in den «OPEN»-Modus stellen (siehe Kap. 4.2 auf Seite 11 / Kap. 4.3 auf Seite 11). 2. Ventilkappe abschrauben. 3. Dämpferpumpe aufschrauben und Federgabel auf den gewünschten Druck aufpumpen. Hinweise des Pumpen-Herstellers beachten! → Federgabel mit aufgeschraubter Dämpferpumpe langsam zwei Mal um etwa 10 mm komprimieren und anschliessend vollständig auseinanderziehen.

  • Page 12 4.4 DRUCKSTUFE EINSTELLEN Um den Anforderungen aller Fahrer gerecht zu werden, ist die Low-Speed Druckstufe einstellbar. Bei komplett geöffneter Druckstufe (Druckstufen-Versteller gegen den Uhrzeigersinn auf Anschlag) ist die Federgabel sehr sensibel und komfortabel. Um das volle Potential der Federgabel zu nutzen, empfehlen wir, die Federgabel unabhängig vom Fahrergewicht und Fahrrad mit vollständig geöffneter Druckstufe zu fahren.

TUNING 5.1 APT (ADAPTABLE PROGRESSION TUNE) Das APT System ermöglicht eine Anpassung der Progression der Federungskurve durch einfaches Hinzufügen oder Entfernen eines oder mehrerer Volumenspacern in der Luftkammer der Federgabel. Die Federgabel wird mit einem montierten Volumenspacer ausgeliefert. Zur persönlichen Anpassung befinden sich zwei weitere Volumenspacer im Lieferumfang.

    3.3 INSTALLING THE WHEEL 1. Clean and lightly grease the thru axle (RWS). The thread of the RWS and the thread of the fork`s dropout must be free of grease. 2. Clean the contact surfaces between the hub and the fork and check for sharp edges. If sharp edges are present, the hub must not be used.

  • Page 26 4.4 ADJUSTING THE COMPRESSION In order to meet the requirements of all riders, the low-speed compression can be set. The fork is very sensitive and comfortable when the compression damping is fully open (counterclockwise to the stop). To use the full potential of the fork, we recommend using it with the compression damping fully open regardless of the rider's weight and the bicycle.

TUNING 5.1 APT (ADAPTABLE PROGRESSION TUNE) The APT (Adaptable Progression Tune) system allows the rider to adjust the progression of the air spring curve by adding or removing volume spacers in the fork‘s air chamber. The suspension fork is supplied with one mounted volume spacer. Two additional volume spacers are included for personal customization.

    In order to counteract this fatigue, we recommend that the upper unit of the suspension fork be replaced by a DT Swiss Service Center after 3 years in case of very heavy use, such as above-average frequent use of the fork under high load.

Le filetage du RWS et le filetage dans la patte de fourche doivent être propres, c’est-à-dire exempts de graisse. 2. Nettoyer les surfaces de contact entre le moyeu et la fourche suspendue et vérifier l'absence de bords tranchants.

Si la compression est complètement ouverte (faire pivoter le dispositif de réglage de la compression en sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’en butée), la fourche suspendue est très sensible et confortable.
