III. MAINTENANCE
B. Electric Motor
The motors are specially designed for masonry sawing. It is totally enclosed and the
sealed bearings require no lubrication. The motor is equipped with thermal
protection.
1. Periodically clean the dirt and sludge build-up from the motor fan housing and
cooling fins.
2. If the motor becomes overheated, the protector shuts the motor off. Turn the motor
switch to the "OFF" and identify the cause of overheating.

Follow the below schedule for engine maintenance. NOTE: Check the Honda Engine
manual that came with the engine for any changes to the maintenance schedule. If the
charts have any differences, follow the chart in the Honda Engine Manual.
