The details and functional descriptions will assist with any possible repairs to the Norton Clipper high-Speed gas Saws CP512-300i or CP514-350i ilube®. We recommend that only Norton Clipper – Original parts are used for all repairs. This will ensure proper repair work and faultless operation of the machine.

We recommend starting by checking the oil pick-up filter for obstructions then, test the oil pick-up hose for leaks.

Disconnect the push-plug connection (x13/x23 and x14/x24) and test the two yellow cables on the plug x23/x24 with the multi-meter for resistance.

Connect the test probes with plug x15. The polarity is not important at this point. If there is a voltage increase of +18V or -18V = DC for the short time pulse of 0.16 sec.
