1.3 POLICY STATEMENT REGARDING OSHA COMPLIANCE

The Occupational Safety and Health Act 1970 (OSHA) placed the responsibly upon each employer
for their employees a place in witch to work free from recognized hazards to safety and health.
The Cleveland Vibrator Company & HK Technologies attempts to follow good safety practices in
the design of its equipment and to comply with the purpose and the standards of OSHA.
However, all purchasers must be aware that the OSHA regulations were issued to control usage of
equipment in the hands of employers rather than to regulate the manufacturer of the equipment.
Full compliance with OSHA thus involves the installation and the use of the equipment in the
hands of the employer-owner. The Cleveland Vibrator Company & HK Technologies cannot
therefore represent, or certify that their equipment conforms in all respects with OSHA
regulations.
In no event shall The Cleveland Vibrator Company & HK Technologies be liable for any direct
incidental or consequential damages arising out of or resulting from operation from operation of
our equipment as it pertains to OSHA
The policy also applies to any federal, state or local standards, which might exist.
