4.1.1 ADJUSTING MECHANICAL OPERATIONS

If mechanical adjustments are required read the following as it instructs how to set weights of the
rotary motors when fine tuning to the ultrasonic pulses. Adjusting weights in the rotary motor
control the rate at which the product moves and feeds around the screen.
Step
1 Disconnect all power of unit before removing motor covers.
2 Remove the motor enclosure if included.
3 Remove the four bolts on the top cover
4 The top two weights maybe loosened by the hex head nut on the outside edge.
5 Notice the weights are fixed around the shaft and can be rotated 360 degrees.
6 For product to move quickly to outside edges align the weights to 100% as shown in Fig. 4.1
7 For product to move slowly to the outside edge rotate the lower weight to 50% as shown in
Fig. 4.2
8 For product to remain at center during cycle rotate the lower weight to 0% as shown in Fig.
4.3
9 After finding the right weight balance that works for your set-up tighten the nut to specified
torque on the weights to hold in place during cycle.
10 Replace the motor cover and tighten nuts to specified torque before turning on motor.
11 Replace motor enclose and connect power to start sieve.
*Special Note: Ensure both weights are set to identical weight balances
