4.2.1 FEEDING AND MATERIAL FLOW OPERATIONS
The sifter material will be fed into the top of the machine through the inlet hole at the center of
the housing when the vibrator is on. This should be done by plastic tube (not included) over the
outer diameter allowing material to pour in at a steady rate. The screen should be covered with
1/8" deep of the material. The now in-process sifting material should move across screen while
smaller pieces pass through the mesh and large pieces remain on top see Fig. 4.4.
