5.1.2 GASKET SEAL
Wear to the rubber gasket placed around the unit's outer rims maybe noticed. Do not hesitate to
replace them if:
Tearing or wear patterns occur

• Stretched and oversized to rim
• Surface cracks appear
• Does not retain seal during operation
Product leakage
•
To replace gasket:
• Make sure power is disconnected
• Remove the band clamps
Remove the ultrasonic rim from the assembly
•
• Pry away the gasket away from the sealed surface around the rim, use a screwdriver if
necessary see Fig. 3.2 for gasket location.
Peel the gasket away from rim
•
• Apply new gasket once all pieces of the previous gasket have been removed
• Reassemble the unit
