1.1 INTENDED USE OF THE PRODUCT

The HKLab Sieve Series is to be used in conjunction with the HK Ultrasonic Power Supply, and
Cleveland Vibratory Rotary Vibrators to accomplish a wide variety of vibratory screening tasks
of powdered materials. Failure to follow instructions in the manual and any alterations made to
the equipment will void warranty. Detailed instructions of the operation of the equipment are
provided in the manual do not bolt or weld any addition equipment to the vibratory screener
warranty with HK Technologies Inc. will be voided.
1.2 WARRANTY & DAMAGES
The company warrants the equipment to be free from defects in material and workmanship
under normal use, proper installation and proper operating conditions. Except of the warranties
of title, the limited warranty is expressly in lieu of and excludes all supersedes all other warranties
and representations, express or implied from the company, including any implied warranty
of merchantability or fitness for any particular use. The company's liability under this limited
warranty shall be limited to repair or replacing any parts witch prove defective, at its factory in
Salem, OHIO. If returned to the company's said factory with shipping charges prepaid, within a
period of six months from the date of shipment. This shall be no liability for anticipated profits,
nor consequential or incidental damages, direct or indirect, loss of use of the equipment or of any
installation into which the equipment may be put under this limited warranty. The company's
liability for warranty of component parts included in the equipment, which the company has
purchased as a manufactured unit from a recognized manufacturer thereof, shall be no greater
than the warranty liability assumed by the supplier or manufacturer of such component parts. In
no event shall the company be liable consequential or incidental damages resulting directly from
the failure of such component parts.
It is the company policy that it is the responsibility of the employer-owner of the equipment and
not the company, to comply with the provisions and regulations under the Occupational Safety
& Health Act of 1970 (OSHA) as well as any federal, state or local standards which might exist as to
health and safety. Therefore, in no event shall the company be liable for any direct, incidental or
consequential damages, either direct or indirect, arising out of or resulting from the operation of
equipment sold by the company as such operation pertains to OSHA or any other federal, state or
local standards which might exist regarding health and safety.
