Designing and Testing a Filter (Step-by-Step)

This example takes the user through the steps to design a new filter and configure the TSW4100.
Assume there are filter spectral requirements:
• Passband Bandwidth = 12 MHz
• Peak-to-Peak passband Ripple = 1 dB
• Stopband = 50 dB at 6.5 MHz (.05 MHz from band edge)
• 4 channels
Note:
The TSW4100 GUI can be used stand alone (not connected to the TSW4100) to do filter
design or generate the DUC and DDC configuration.
