Whilst the generators are in parallel, the DSE8x10 controllers instruct the generators to run at a
certain frequency/voltage dependant on the active power (kW)/reactive power (kvar) the generator is
producing. In the example below, both generators have the same Droop Curve configured for the
Frequency Droop and Voltage Droop. Even though one generator is twice the size of the other, both
generators are producing 80 % of their kW rating at 50.5 Hz and 40 % of their kvar rating at 412 V.
This occurred as the Droop Curve for the Frequency Droop and Voltage Droop was configured the
same in both generators.
