TRELLIS ASSEMBLY
(Refer to Drawing 1)
On clean flat surface lay out the two 61" bent tubes and slide the horizontal cross rails over the bent
tubes in the order shown.
Note: Bent tubes are marked with a black mark on inside of tube to indicate top end.
(Refer to Drawing 2)
Lay one of the trellis legs so the routed holes are facing up and the pilot holes for screws are facing you.
Insert the horizontal cross rails from original assembly into the trellis leg, add the bottom rail in the last
routed hole of leg and slide the bent tubes into the outer two holes of the bottom rail. Press the other
leg over the opposite ends of the cross rails. Lay the trellis panel flat, making sure all the rails are
completely inserted into the legs and fasten with screws. Snap the screw caps over screw heads.
Stand trellis up and slide the straight tube through the center holes and snap the 5/8" tube caps on top
of the tubes. You may need to warm the 5/8" caps slightly in your hands or in warm water so they are
easier to apply. Set the 7/8 x 1 ½" caps on the top of the trellis legs, household glue may be used if
caps are loose.
INSTALLATION
In desired location set the trellis in place and mark where ground anchors will need to be inserted.
Using a block of wood to protect the flared edges of ground anchors; pound the anchors into place. (If
ground is extremely hard, loosen or soak soil before inserting ground anchors). Set trellis into ground
anchors.
