Enter Configuration Menu
The following information is displayed:
• Interface Name
• Interface Type
• MAC address
• Host addresses
• Route Table
• Gateway addresses
• DNS addresses
Interface ID
Use this feature to change/enter the 64 bit alternative interface ID for the device. The string
format is colon separated. The default setting is the MAC address above.
DAD Transmit Count
This feature displays the number of consecutive neighbor solicitation messages that have
been sent while performing duplicate address detection on a tentative address.
Policy
Use this feature to select how the policy is to be configured. The options are automatic
and manual.
Advanced Configuration (Available when "Policy" is set to manual)
New IPv6 address
Use this feature to enter the IPv6 address for the local machine.
New Gateway addresses
Use this feature to set the gateway address for the local machine.
New DNS addresses
Use this feature to set the DNS server address for the local machine.
Commit Changes and Exit
Press <Enter> to save changes and exit.
