Looping specific steps (step loop)

You can make a selected step or steps play back in a loop during pattern playback.
You can make more than one step play back in a loop at the same time.
1. Press the [ø] (PLAY) button to start playback (the button lights up).
2. Hold down the [SHIFT] button and press the [PATTERN] button.
The [PATTERN] button blinks, and the unit enters step loop mode.
3. Keep pressing the step pads [1]–[16] that you want to play repeatedly.
The steps you selected play repeatedly.
4. To exit, press the [PATTERN] button.
