Driver Installation Instructions
7.5.1 Windows XP SP3 Fresh Installation
Follow the instructions in this section if you are performing a new installation of Windows XP SP3 onto the SATA drive.
Expand all Files in the 3132_x86_1.0.22.0_logo.zip filer to a diskette and connect a USB Floppy drive to the MSM200.
1.
Put your Windows XP SP3 CD into the CD/DVD-ROM drive.

Press F6 for third party SCSI or driver installation at the beginning of text mode installation. Insert the SATA
and USB TXT driver diskette and press "s" ("z" on German versions) when setup asks if you want to specify
an additional device.

At the next menu, select "Silicon Image SiI 3132 SATALink Controller for Windows XP" and press Enter.
4.
When prompted, press Enter again to continue on with text mode setup.
5.
Follow the setup instructions to select your choice for partition and file system.
6.
After setup examines your disks, it will copy files from the CD to the hard drive selected above and restart the
system. After restart the setup process will resume to finish the installation.
