Unloading the dishwasher

CAUTION
Risk of scalding!
Hot steam emitted when opening the
appliance door can cause scalding.
■ Maintain a suffi cient distance from
the appliance door, and do not hold
your head or upper body directly
above the open appliance door.
■ Make sure that children do not open
the appliance door if the programme
has only fi nished a short time ago.
■ Only open the appliance door slight-
ly to allow the steam to escape more
easily.
■ Allow the dishes to cool before un-
loading the dishwasher.
Risk of injury!
People may trip over the open appli-
ance door.
■ Close the appliance door after every
use.
■ Only leave the appliance door slightly
open to cool down.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Loading the open appliance door can
result in damage to property.
■ Make sure that children and pets
do not stand on the open appliance
door.
After the programme has ended, an acoustic
signal will sound lasting several seconds. The
programme display (3) lights up continuously.
1. Press the start/pause button (12)
switch off the dishwasher.
2. Close the tap.
3. Leave the appliance door slightly ajar
until the dishes have cooled down. Make
sure that the appliance door does not
open wide enough to create a hazard
that other people in the household may
bang themselves against or trip over.
4. Unload the dish racks (13) and (15) as
well as the cutlery basket (14).
First empty the lower dish rack and then
work your way up. This will prevent wa-
ter from dripping onto the lower dishes when
emptying the upper dish rack.
5. Leave the dishwasher door open slightly
so that the inside of the dishwasher can
cool off and dry.
If no further settings are made, the appliance
will automatically switch off/enter standby
mode after 15 minutes.
