Filling AUS/DEF

CAUTION!
AUS/DEF spilt onto hot components will quickly
vaporize. Turn your face away!
CAUTION!
Risk of corrosive damage.
Contact with the fluid can cause irritation and
corrosion.
Wear protective gloves!
Change gloves and clothing that have been in contact
with the liquid.
CAUTION!
Risk of material damage.
AUS/DEF oxidizes metal and the capillary action
creeps through lines at a speed of approx. 0.6 meters
per hour.
If spillage occurs, electrical connectors must be
replaced immediately. Do not try to clean with water or
compressed air.
IMPORTANT:
Dirt/dust, oil, greases, detergents and any chemicals
and natural products must be prevented from entering
the AUS/DEF tank. The system will be damaged if dust
or dirt enters the tank, clogging the filters in the dosing
system. Keep the tank clean at all times.
IMPORTANT:
Never start the engine if anything other than clean
AUS/DEF has been added to the tank.
IMPORTANT:
The use of solution that do not fulfill the ISO 18611 or
ISO 22241 standard will compromise the
aftertreatment system performance. Any warranty
claims will be rejected.
