Com.Fail
Communication failure. Shutdown Module (SDM).
Controller#1
Software corrupt.
EngCool Temp
Coolant temperature too high.
Check coolant level. Refer to Coolant Level.
Check that the seawater filter is not blocked. Refer to Seawater Filter.
Check the impeller in the sea water pump. Refer to Impeller.
Check that no leakage occurs.
If engine is shut down, check SDM and make a reset.
EngOilLevel
Oil level too low.
The system may wrongly detect too low an engine oil level in heavy following seas or head seas. If this occurs,
acknowledge the fault and check the following items for safety's sake.
Checking Engine Oil Level. Refer to Oil level.
Check that no leakage occurs.
EngOil Press
Engine Oil Pressure Too Low
Engine Oil Level Too Low. Refer to Oil level.
Check that no leakage occurs.
If engine is shut down, check SDM and make a reset.
EngOverspeed
Critical system fault Engine shuts down automatically. Contact a Volvo Penta workshop if the fault remains.
EATS Failure
Malfunction detected in the SCR/EATS system.
ECUMainRelay
Smart Relay Module (SRM).
Main relay hold EMS Electrical failure.
ECUPrgFailure
Software corrupt.
