Note: Determine the left and right sides of the
machine from the normal operating position.
Controls
Note: Become familiar with all the controls before
starting the engine and operating the machine.

Key Switch
The key switch has 2 positions: On and Off.
Use the key switch to turn on or shut off the machine;
refer to Starting the Machine (page 23) and
Shutting Off the Machine (page 23).
Power-Takeoff Switch (PTO)
Use the power-takeoff switch (PTO) to engage
and disengage mower blades or start and stop
