  • Page 8 Installation Step 1 – Assembling bases • If your table has two base sections then see below. If it has a single base then skip to the Leveling step (step 3) Set the two base sections end to end. • ends without the black plates on top should come together in the center.
  • Page 9 Installation Step – Attach Top Mounting plate • Locate two square tubing spacers (hardware item #6) over the large holes in the top of the frame per the photo to the right. • Using the provided hardware item #9 flat heat bolt attach the black plate to the frame per the photo to the right.
  • Page 10 Installation Step 3 - Levelling • Set the table base in the desired location • Use a 4 or 6 foot level to Level the table base by turning the glides on the bottom of the table using a glide wrench or lifting the base to turn them by hand.
  • Page 11 Installation Step 4 – Sub-top installation • Set the sub-top on the table bases. The recessed areas in the underside of the sub- top are to be located on the black metal plates attached to the base. The sub-top can be fastened to these metal plates after top installation is complete.
  • Page 12 Installation Step 5 – Metal Trim • Place the aluminum trim pieces around the perimeter per the labeling on the table and adjoining pieces and on the sub-top. Screw to the sub –top in the pre-drilled holes using hardware #1. It is critical to assure alignment at the seams.
  • Page 13 Installation Step 6 – Center Spine and sub panels • Place the center spine sub panels under the one side of the spine trim and then place the opposite side of the spine trim per the photo to the right. Again DO NOT fasten the center spine trim down.

  • Page 18 Tavola Troubleshooting Guide • It is recommended that at least 2 people perform any of the troubleshooting steps • Suction cups are required for all steps. • Be sure to read through the troubleshooting guide completely before beginning.
  • Page 19 Misaligned seems on the perimeter 1. Remove all countersunk screws from underside of the table. 2. Surface Panels must be removed before any further steps can be taken. 3. You should now have access to perimeter frame fasteners. 4. Working in the problem area, remove screws and adjust perimeter for alignment.

If misalignment is still occurring, it may be necessary to drill and countersink a hole in the underside of the frame.(This will correct any twisting in the extrusion) • When attempting to close any gaps between the outer frame and top, follow steps 1-3 from above.

Power cove fasteners should now be visible. 4. Loosen(do not remove) screws on the power cove and adjust to desired location.
  • Page 23 Adjusting the cross-section trim 1. Remove countersunk screws from the underside of the table in problem area. 2. With the screws on the trim piece accessible, loosen and move to desired location. 3. It may be necessary to drill and countersink new holes for trim piece to fit properly.
