The remote control operates on 1pc "CR2025" lithium battery (included). To power up the remote control, remove the insulation tab from the back of unit.

Installing Battery

  1. Push the button toward right.
  2. Pull the battery loader out.
  3. Insert one "CR2025" size battery with the positive side (+) facing up.
  4. Replace the cover.


Before throwing any batteries away, consult your distributor who may be able to take them back for specific recycling.

NOTES:

  • If the remote control is not going to be used for a long time, remove the battery to avoid damage caused by battery leakage corrosion.
  • Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
  • Do not throw batteries in fire!
  • Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.


Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.


Do not ingest the battery, Chemical Burn Hazard
(The remote control supplied with) This product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the coin/ button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death.
Keep new and used batteries away from children.
If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

WALL MOUNTING INSTRUCTION

  1. Drill 2 holes on wall with a powerful electric drill.
  2. Insert the fixing plug into the holes.
  3. Secure the screws into the fixing plugs and leave approx. 3mm length to hook the sound bar.
  4. Put the soundbar onto the mounting screws. Make sure they are firm and stable.

POWER SUPPLY

AC ADAPTOR

The supplied AC adaptor is suitable for use on AC main supplies of 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz and should only be connected to a mains supply within these parameters.

In a concern of saving energy, when playback has reached to the end or listening volume is set at a very low level and no control is operated on the device for a period of 2 hours, the unit will automatically switch to Standby mode.

Cautions:

  • The AC adaptor included with this unit is for its use only. Do not use it with other equipment.
  • Turn off the unit before unplugging the AC adaptor from the unit so as to avoid the unit being damaged.
  • When the unit is not going to be used for long time, disconnect the AC adaptor from the AC outlet.
  • Be sure to use it near the wall outlet and easily accessible. If a malfunction occurs, disconnect the plug from the wall outlet at once.
  • AC adaptor is used as the disconnect device. It shall remain readily operable and should not be obstructed during intended use. To be completely disconnected the apparatus from supply mains, the AC adaptor of the apparatus shall be disconnected from the mains socket outlet completely.
  • Never use an AC adaptor that is damaged, route power lead in a safe manner and make sure it is not subjected to trapping or pinching. If the power lead is damaged refer to a qualified service agent.

TURNING UNIT ON/OFF

Press STANDBY button to turn on the unit. Press this button again to turn off the unit.

SELECTING FUNCTION

The function (BLUETOOTH/ AUX/ RCA/ OPTICAL) is selected by pressing SOURCE button repeatedly. The corresponding color of indicator light will be displayed.

AUDIO CONTROLS

VOLUME

Press Vol +/- to adjust the sound to comfortable level.

MUTE

To cut off the sound from the speakers temporarily, press button on remote control. Press button again to cancel mute mode and restore the sound from the speakers.

BASS/ TREBLE

Press TREBLE+/- buttons or BASS+/- buttons on remote control to adjust treble effect or bass effect.

EQ

Press EQ button on remote control to toggle among the different sound effects.

Pairing a Bluetooth Device

  1. When the unit is ON, press SOURCE button repeatedly select Bluetooth mode. The indicator will blink blue rapidly indicating it is in Pairing mode. After 5 seconds indication sound to indicate it is in pairing mode.
  2. On the Bluetooth device, enable Bluetooth and select "M-1520SBT" from the Device List. (Refer to the user manual of the device to be connected for detailed operations.) If the Bluetooth device prompts for a pass code, use"0000". Some Bluetooth devices will ask you to accept the connection.
    You will hear an indication sound when pairing is successful.

Tip: If you want to connect your Bluetooth speaker to another Bluetooth audio device, you need to disconnect current device first and follow the steps above to make a new connection.
If the pairing fails, perform the following:
Press PAIR button until the indicator blink blue rapidly to enter the Pairing mode. On the Bluetooth device, enable Bluetooth and select "M-1520SBT" from the Device List (see step 2 above).

  • On some devices such as computers, once paired you must select the unit from the Bluetooth menu and choose "Use as Audio Device (stereo)" or similar.
  • Pairing remains intact when the unit and/or your Bluetooth device is taken out of communication range. An active connection will be re-established when your Bluetooth device returns within range.
  • When the unit is turned on again, it will automatically try to reconnect with the most recently paired Bluetooth device.

Using a Bluetooth Device

  1. With a unit paired (see previous section), operate your Bluetooth device and its sound will be heard through the M-1520SBT's speakers.
  2. Press the button to pause playback. Press again to resume playback.
  3. Select desired track with .
  4. Adjust the volume using the Volume buttons. You can also adjust the volume on the device to which you are paired.

CONNECTING WITH EXTERNAL DEVICES

To AUX IN RCA jacks

Connect your audio source (e.g. DVD player) to the AUX 1 L/R jacks on unit with the supplied RCA audio cable.

To 3.5mm AUX IN jack

Connect your audio source (e.g. mp3 player) to the AUX 2 jack on unit.

To OPTICAL IN jack

Connect your audio source to the OPTICAL jack on unit with a digital optical audio cable (cable not included).

  1. Press SOURCE repeatedly to select desired mode: AUX 1 L/R (RCA), AUX 2 (3.5mm), OPTICAL.
  2. Start playback from your audio source.
  3. Adjust the volume to desired level.
  4. To stop playback, disconnect your audio source from this unit.

Note: OPTICAL IN is for PCM format only.
