Please read the instruction carefully before operating the unit.

The remote control operates on 1pc "CR2025" lithium battery (included). To power up the remote control, remove the insulation tab from the back of unit.

REPLACING BATTERY FOR THE REMOTE CONTROL

1. Put a coin into the groove of battery cover.
2. Twist the coin anti-clockwise to open the battery door until the marking dot "CLOSE" move to the "OPEN".
3. Take out the battery door
4. Insert one "CR2025" size battery with the positive side (+) facing up.
5. Replace the cover. Twist the coin clockwise to close the battery door until the marking dot "OPEN" move to the "CLOSE".

NOTES:

• Before throwing any batteries away, consult your distributor who may be able to take them back for specific recycling.
• If the remote control is not going to be used for a long time, remove the battery to avoid damage caused by battery leakage corrosion.
• Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
• Do not throw batteries in fire!
• Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.

Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.

Do not ingest the battery, Chemical Burn Hazard
(The remote control supplied with) This product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the coin/button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death.

Keep new and used batteries away from children.

If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.

If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

POWER SUPPLY

AC ADAPTOR

The supplied AC adaptor is suitable for use on AC main supplies of 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz and should only be connected to a mains supply within these parameters.

In a concern of saving energy, when playback has reached to the end or listening volume is set at a very low level and no control is operated on the device for a period of 2 hours, the unit will automatically switch to Standby mode.

• The AC adaptor included with this unit is for its use only. Do not use it with other equipment.
• Turn off the unit before unplugging the AC adaptor from the unit so as to avoid the unit being damaged.
• When the unit is not going to be used for long time, disconnect the AC adaptor from the AC outlet.
• Be sure to use it near the wall outlet and easily accessible. If a malfunction occurs, disconnect the plug from the wall outlet at once.
• AC adaptor is used as the disconnect device. It shall remain readily operable and should not be obstructed during intended use. To be completely disconnected the apparatus from supply mains, the AC adaptor of the apparatus shall be disconnected from the mains socket outlet completely.
• Never use an AC adaptor that is damaged, route power lead in a safe manner and make sure it is not subjected to trapping or pinching. If the power lead is damaged refer to a qualified service agent.

TURNING UNIT ON/OFF

1. Press button to turn on the unit.
2. Press and hold button on unit or short press button on remote control to turn off the unit.

AUDIO CONTROL

Loudness/BASS/TREBLE

1. Press AUDIO button repeatedly on remote control to select Loudness, Bass or Treble function, the corresponding icon will appear on display.
2. Then press / to turn loudness ON/OFF or to adjust the level of bass/ treble.

SELECTING FUNCTION

When the unit is ON, press SOURCE button repeatedly to select the desired function in cycle: Bluetooth, USB, AUX, FM.

SETTING TIME

1. In standby mode, press once to enter time setting mode and the hour digits flash.
2. Press / on unit or / on remote control to set the hour value. Press to confirm and minute digits flash.
3. Press / on unit or / on remote control to set the minute value and press again to confirm.

SETTING ALARM AND ALARM MODE

Setting the alarm

In standby mode, press ALM. on remote control to enter alarm setting mode. The display will show "".

1. Press / on unit or / on remote control to enter alarm setting mode. "" appears on display. Press ALM. to confirm and the hour digits flash.
2. Press / on unit or / on remote control to set the hour value. Press ALM. to confirm and minute digits flash.
3. Press / on unit or / on remote control to set the minute value and press ALM. again to confirm. The alarm indicator remains on.

Note: The alarm indicator will blink when the alarm time is reached.

NOTES:

• The alarm will wake up to the previous mode (FM, Bluetooth, USB, AUX) when the alarm time is reached. Select your desired wake-up mode before the unit is turned off.
• If there is no audio input from your selected wake-up source when the alarm time is reached, it will switch to FM mode automatically after approximate one minute.
• If the wake-up source is FM mode, select your desired radio station before the unit is turned off.

Stopping the Alarm - Alarm stop

Press . The alarm will sound again the next day at the same time. Alarm indicator remains on.

Alarm Cancellation

1. In Standby mode, press ALM. to enter alarm setting mode.
2. Press / on unit or / on remote control to select "" and press ALM. again to cancel the alarm permanently. The alarm indicator lights off.

RADIO

Listening to the radio

When the unit is on, press SOURCE button repeatedly to select FM mode. The display will show "" and turns FM frequency for a few seconds, and then changed to clock time.

Manual search

1. Choose your radio station with or .
2. Adjust the volume by or to the desired level.

Automatic search

Press and hold or for few seconds. The automatic search locates strong stations. A station with a weak signal can be set manually by repeatedly pressing or .

Note: For a better reception in FM, extend the antenna.

Preset stations

The unit can store 20 FM stations.

Manual storage

1. Select a radio station manually or in automatic search.
2. Press . "" appears on the screen.
3. Press P+ on unit or P+ on remote control to select a preset channel.
4. Press to save it.
5. Repeat steps 1-4 to store other stations.

Automatic storage

Press ATS on remote control and the unit will automatically save the first 20 FM stations. When you store on a channel already been preset, the previous station will automatically be cleared and replaced by the new station.

Listen to the station presets

1. Press P+ on unit or P+ on remote control to select your preset station.
2. Adjust the volume by or to the desired level.

Pairing a Bluetooth Device

1. When the unit is ON, Press SOURCE button repeatedly to select Bluetooth mode. The display will show "" for a few seconds and change to clock time. The Bluetooth indicator will start to blink rapidly. unit is in pairing mode.
2. On the Bluetooth device, enable Bluetooth and select "M-630 BT" from the Device List. (Refer to the user manual of the device to be connected for detailed operations.) If the Bluetooth device prompts for a passcode, use "0000". Some Bluetooth devices will ask you to accept the connection. You will hear an indication voice when pairing is successful.

Tip: If you want to connect your Bluetooth speaker to another Bluetooth audio device, you need to disconnect current device first and follow the steps above to make a new connection.

If the pairing fails, perform the following:

Press and hold the button until the Bluetooth indicator blinks quickly to enter the Pairing mode, you will hear the voice "Disconnected", On the Bluetooth device, enable Bluetooth and select "M-630 BT" from the Device List (see step 2 above).

• On some devices such as computers, once paired you must select the unit from the Bluetooth menu and choose "Use as Audio Device (stereo)" or similar.
• Pairing remains intact when the unit and/or your Bluetooth device is taken out of communication range. An active connection will be re-established when your Bluetooth device returns within range.
• When the unit is turned on again, it will automatically try to reconnect with the most recently paired Bluetooth device.

Using a Bluetooth Device

1. With a unit paired (see previous section), operate your Bluetooth device and its sound will be heard through the M-630 BT's speakers.
2. Press the button to pause playback. Press again to resume playback.
3. Select desired track with / .
4. Adjust the volume using the / Volume buttons. You can also adjust the volume on the device to which you are paired.

Using a NFC Device

NFC (Near Field Communication) is a technology that enables short-range wireless communication between NFC-enabled devices, such as mobile phones.

1. When the unit is ON, press SOURCE button repeatedly to select Bluetooth mode. The display will show "" for a few seconds and change to clock time. The Bluetooth indicator will start to blink rapidly.
2. Enable NFC and Bluetooth on your Bluetooth device (see the user manual of your device for details), tap the NFC device on the NFC tag. The NFC device is connected to this unit via Bluetooth.
3. Select and play audio files or music on your NFC device.
4. To break the connection, tap the NFC device with the NFC tag on this unit again.

Note: The operational range between the main unit and a NFC device is approximately 10 meters.

USB PLAYBACK

1. Connect an USB device to the USB MP3 port on unit.
2. Press SOURCE button repeatedly to select USB mode. The display will show "" for a few seconds and change to clock time. Playback will start automatically. The USB indicator keeps blinking during playback.
3. Select desired track with / .

Notes:

• The total number of MP3 files on the USB device should not exceed 999.
• The device may not contain more than 99 directories.
• The reading time takes about a few seconds or more depending on the amount of MP3 files and folders on USB device.
• Do not put anything other than a USB device to the port of this unit. Other objects may damage the USB mechanism.
• The USB socket must not be connected to the computer directly, for that may damage the unit.
• There are many USB devices in the market. We cannot guarantee to support all different models. Please try another USB device if your device is not supported.

CONNECTING AUXILIARY SOURCE

1. Connect your auxiliary source (e.g. mp3 player) to the AUX IN jack on unit (cable not included).
2. Press SOURCE repeatedly to select AUX mode. The display will show "" for a few seconds and change to clock time.
3. Start playback from your auxiliary source.
4. Adjust the volume to desired level.
5. To stop playback, disconnect your auxiliary source from the AUX IN jack.

USB CHARGING

This unit is equipped with a built-in USB charging port (Output: 5V 1A.) for recharging your mobile device (e.g. Smartphone, tablet, etc. )

Simply plug the USB charging cable (not included) into the USB charging port and connect it to your mobile device.

SLEEP FUNCTION

In sleep mode, the unit will turn off automatically after a specified time.

You can select duration in minutes before the unit turns off automatically.

1. Press SLEEP button on remote control repeatedly to select 90-60-45-30-15-105-00. Release SLEEP button. Sleep indicator remains on display.
   Notes:
   • Sleep time can only be set when the unit is turned ON.
   • The sleep function is cancelled when "00" is selected, and Sleep indicator turns off.
2. If you want to switch off the Bluetooth speaker before sleep ends, press button.

DIMMER

Press DIM. button on remote control to select the brightness of the screen: high, low or off.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Should this unit exhibit a problem, check the following before seeking service:

No Power

• Make sure unit is connected to AC power.

No Sound – General

• External device's volume is set to minimum; raise volume.
• The M-630 BT's volume is set to minimum; raise volume.

The Bluetooth device cannot pair or connect with the unit

• You have not activated the Bluetooth function of your device. Refer to the user manual of your device to activate Bluetooth function.
• The unit is not in pairing mode. Press and hold the button until the Bluetooth indicator blinks fast.
• The unit is already connected with another Bluetooth device; disconnect that device and then try again.

MORE INFORMATION

To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not open the device, there is no party inside for the user. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.

The lightning with the arrow symbol in the triangle is a warning sign alerting the user to "dangerous voltage" inside the unit.

The Caution mark is located at the back of the device.

• The use of apparatus in moderate climates.
• The Marking plate is located at the back of the device.
• Make sure to have a minimum distance of 5 cm around the unit for sufficient ventilation.
• Ensure that the ventilation openings are not covered with items such as newspapers, tablecloths, curtains, etc.
