Chapter 7: Repair and Replacement
Step 1 Remove the back cover.
Step 2 Remove the top enclosure by removing the four
screws in the bottom enclosure (be sure to disconnect
the Power / Reset cable before removing the top
completely)
Step 3 Disconnect the LCD cable from the main board.
Step 4 Disconnect the audible alarm connector.
Step 5 Disconnect the Front Panel LE cable from the main
board.
Step 6 Disconnect the Patient Disconnect cable.
Step 7 Remove the Front Panel LE by pulling up.
Step 8 Remove the board by removing the four Phillips
blade screws from the main board. (See photo
illustration on page 7-3)
Step 9 Remove the Modem Assembly, if applicable. (3 nylon
screws on the bottom of the PCA.
Step 10 Remove the board from the bottom enclosure.
Step 11 Remove the PCMCIA Drive.
Step 12 Replace by reversing step 1-11.
