evaluation (check mark or error message)
Ensure that two-digit test strip codes are
entered correctly and match the code on the
test strip vial. Ensure that test strips are stored
and handled correctly. Do not use test strips or
Check Solution that have passed their expiry
date. Never hold the Check Solution bottle
directly to the test strip. This will contaminate
the Check Solution with test strip reagents and
make the remaining Check Solution unusable.
Open the Check Solution bottle and wipe the
opening. Hold the bottle downwards and press
out a small drop. Discard the first drop and press
a second drop onto a clean surface (e.g. a clean
fingernail or a plastic foil). If using the fingernail,
remove residual sweat by washing with water.
Bring the analyzer with the inserted test strip
close to the Check Solution drop until the test
strip tip touches the drop. The required sample
volume (0.2 μL) will be drawn into the test
strip automatically. Measurement starts with an
acoustic signal („beep"), and the result will be
displayed. Pull the test strip out of the meter and
dispose of the test strip.
EVALUATION OF THE RESULTS
If the test is performed correctly, deviations
within the specified tolerance range do not
indicate any malfunctions of the measuring
system.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
Should you experience repeated values outside
those defined for the Check Solution and you
have used correctly coded test strips, properly
