Target Blood Glucose Ranges

Reminders
Time of day
Before breakfast
Before lunch or dinner
1 hour after meals
2 hours after meals
Between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m.
Expected Values
Normal blood glucose levels for an adult without diabetes are below
100 mg/dL (5.5 mmol/L) before meals and fasting* and are less than
140 mg/dL (7.8 mmol/L) two hours after meals.
*Fasting is defined as no caloric intake for at least eight hours.

Transferring Test Results Using Cable

Test results stored in CareSens Dual meter can be
transferred from the meter to a computer using SmartLog
software and cable. The meter screen displays 'Pc' when
it is connected to the computer using the data cable. For
more information, contact your authorised i-SENS sales
representative or visit www.i-sens.com.
Note:
Test results can also be transferred wirelessly using
Bluetooth. To pair the meter and your smartphone, see page 19.
