5. Standard adjustment

5-2. Height of presser foot

When the presser foot (1) is lifted by the presser foot lifter (2),
the standard presser foot lift is 6mm.
1. Loosen the nut (3) and loosen the presser foot adjusting
screw (4) so that the presser foot pressure is not applied.
2. Raise the presser foot (1) with the presser foot lifter (2).
3. Remove the rubber stopper (5) on the face plate.
4. Loosen the bolt (6) and move the presser bar (7) up and
down to adjust the height of the presser foot (1) to 6mm.
5. Tighten the bolts (6).
6. Attach the rubber stopper (5).
7. Adjust the presser foot pressure with the presser foot
adjusting screw (4) and tighten the nut (3).
[Precaution]
After adjustment, turn the sewing machine pulley and
confirm that the needle is lowered to the center of the
N
groove of the presser foot.
