5. Controls

of the various controls. Read the operator's

5.1 Engine Controls

Before starting the engine, read and understand
the safety and operating information under
Engine Safety on page 10.
IMPORTANT! For complete information about the engine
controls, see the engine manufacturer's manual.
5.1.1 Throttle Control and Fuel Shutoff
The throttle control and fuel shutoff lever has the following
functions:
Fast
Engine speed is fast.
Slow
Engine speed is slow.
Fuel shutoff closed
STOP
STOP
The engine is stopped.

5.1.2 Choke Control

The choke control lever has the following functions:
Closed
Close the choke to start a cold engine.
Open
Open the choke when the engine is warm.
