transfer ceases. The default period is 3 minutes.

Note: Quantum recommends that you set the number of
ingest_threads to 64 for each Lattus controller. If you have
two controllers, set the number of ingest_threads to 128,
and then add 64 for each additional controller beyond
two. (For example, set the number of ingest_threads to
192 if you have three controllers.)
Note: The number of ingest_threads impacts the number of
open files in the snpolicyd process. Each ingest thread
can open up to 64 files. Each thread also opens one
TCP connection to the controller node.
In rough terms, the total number of open files in
snpolicyd can reach: 
(64 + 1) * ingest_threads + 100 (files opened by
other threads, for example: delete thread, retrieve
thread, and so on).
Currently the maximum number of open files for snpolicyd is
set to 8192 by the ulimit command in the
/usr/cvfs/bin/DSM_c
# ulimit -n 8192
b If the number of open files in snpolicyd is more than 8192,
change the
DSM_control
