Type This option shows the types of configuration for the
IDE devices:
1-50: Predefined types
USER: set Parameters by User
Auto: Set parameters automatically
CD-ROM: Use for ATAPI CD-ROM drives
Double click [Auto] to set all HDD parameters
automatically, including "Cylinders, Heads, Write
Precompensation, Sectors, Maximum Capacity and
32 Bit Transfer Mode.
