Service Mode - Haier GE GDF450P R0 Series Technical Service Manual

Service Mode can only be entered during
Error Mode.
NOTE: Entering Service Mode resets the CSM.
The dishwasher must be in Consumer Error Mode
to enter Service Mode. Entering Service Mode
will reset the CSM, allowing loads to be checked
for the cause of the CSM to trip.
For Models with 1 or 2 Pads
Press Start. Service Mode will then run through
all tests on its own. Skip to the next test by
pressing start. Depending on the model, the
Normal or Heavy LED will flash per the chart
below.

Exiting Service Mode
For models with 1 or 2 pads, both Error Mode
and Service Mode exits automatically or will time-
out after approximately 5 minutes.

Service Mode

Timeout / Notes
Attempts to fill to
normal level. Takes
approximately 1 minute.
Turns on detergent
module solenoid for a
maximum of 2 minutes.
Runs lower spray arm
for approximately 1
minute.
Runs upper spray arm
for approximately 1
minute.
Turns on heater and
circulation pump for a
maximum of 1 minute.
Runs drain pump until
pressure sensor sees
an empty tub.
For Models with 3 or More Pads
Press and hold the furthest most pad on the left
for 5 seconds. Pressing the furthest most pad on
the left will select the test. Press the Start pad
to cancel the test, or press the furthest most pad
on the left to cancel the current test and proceed
to the next test. Depending on the model, the
Normal or Heavy LED will flash per the chart
below.

For models with three or more pads, press the
furthest most pad on left and Start pads together
momentarily or will time-out after approximately 5
minutes.

Takes appx. 75 seconds
from normal level.
Attempts to
automatically fill tub to
normal volume. Takes
appx. 1 minute.
Changes spray arm
(via changing diverter)
every 30 seconds.
Runs for maximum of 2

Turns heater on for
maximum of 2 minutes.
Turns soap dispense
solenoid on for
maximum of 2 minutes.
Turns Calrod heater
relay on for maximum
of 2 minutes. Turns off
neutral break to allow
the board to test the
CSM.
