Move the printhead several times to make sure the ribbon is installed
and functioning properly.

After installing the ribbon cartridge, reposition the gap lever to the proper
form thickness, and close the printer cover.
Note
: When the print becomes faint, you need to replace the ribbon cartridge.
Otherwise, the print quality would be affected, and the printhead may
be damaged.

Connecting the printer to the power source

1.
Make sure that the power switch located on the left/front side of the
printer is set to OFF. Press the "O" side of the power switch.
Plug one end of the provided AC power cord into the printer's power

supply inlet.

Make sure the voltage required by the printer matches that of your
electrical outlet. Refer to the voltage designated on the rating label
located on the back of the printer.
4.
Connect the other end of the AC power cord into a properly grounded
electrical outlet.
To turn the printer ON, press the "I" side of the power switch.
