VKM04 Introduction VKM04 is a VGA extender that uses a cost-effective Ethernet cable to carry not only VGA signal but USB, Stereo Audio, RS232, and IR ones with superior resolution and long transmission distance. You can easily control a PC where is far away from you while having an additional VGA monitor alongside using the loop-out port at TX unit. -

The transmission distance may be varied by the performance of input/output devices and installing environment. -

The rotary dip switch can be used to switch channel (0-F) to pair up devices. 1. The channel number of the TX and RX must be the same to connect each other, total up to 32 (16 for each group) pairs could be setup at one switch. Please reboot VKM04 after pairing. - Page 5 User Manual VKM04 RS232 Baud Rate Setting Default Baud rate at 115200bps. You can change it by the following steps: Press button 1 at the RX unit to select Baud Rate. 2. Press button 2 at the RX unit to select a wanted parameter.

User Manual VKM04 Trouble Shooting Max. data rate at 850Mbps. It is not recommend connecting VKM04 to existing LAN structure as the large data amount might paralyze existing network. Default EDID at 1080p, you can change resolution from AV source. -
